Just make sure you read the guides for WW because the mod itself is just the base controller. It still requires a little micromanaging to actually put Sims into relationships/marriage but it's far less random than MCCC and you get to see relationships actually form rather than just a pop up message that says two random Sims got married.
I've actually stopped using pretty much most of MCCC's relationship features and started letting WW control that aspect of the game now along with More Personality Please. Luckily it has presets which can get you started so you don't have to spend hours tweaking various settings. The level of customisation you can apply to your game through it is quite amazing but it does take a bit of trial and error, otherwise you end up with full blown orgies every time Sims get together.
While WickedWhims is primarily about the sex, it's actually evolved into a great story progression mod too.
